Brief Profile:
I have over 30 years of diverse experience in education, particularly in Teacher Education sector. I am presently serving as secretary of National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) and have held several prestigious positions in public education sector both in management and teaching caders. I had the opportunity to work at provincial and federal level institutions and education department / organizations in senior positions like director, additional director, principal and secretary.I have also the honor to officiate as Vice Chancellor University of Education, Lahore. I have also been supporting many colleges and universities as their faculty member / examiner, advisor and research supervisor . Have participated in numerous selection boards, conducted and coordinated, supervisory committees, and procurement / purchase matters, and have authored text books for Punjab text book board as well.Have a good national and international exposure and experience in education development. I have participated in number of educational seminars and conferences and have organized and managed various capacity building workshops, training courses and seminars at Academy of Educational Planning and Management (AEPAM), World Bank,UNESCO, HEC, NACTE and other prestigious institutions.
I did my Ph. D in Education from the University of the Punjab Lahore.
